I can talk to my kids ALL DAY LONG, and I think sometimes all they hear is " Wahhh Wahhh Wahhh (charlie brown sound ). They really learn when I can give them something visual. I found this great pumpkin carving activity, and I'm looking forward to trying it with my kids. Enjoy!

- Tell your kids about becoming a new creation when you start to carve the pumpkin.
- Show them the stuff we pull out of the pumpkin is like the yucky sin that’s inside us.
- Tell them how Jesus cleans us out when we confess our sin.
- Carve a happy face on the pumpkin and read 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
- Finish by putting a candle in the pumpkin and read Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”
